Three Outlaw alumni cheerleaders-Casey Edwards, Brooke Schlosser, and Miley Abeja and current OLO Lightweight cheerleader Moria Hennessy joined the Junior Monarch cheerleading team at All Star Athletics . They competed 3 times during their season and won first place at each competition! They even earned the highest score of the whole age category at one of their competitions! This picture was taken at a competition in Elgin, Illinois, hosted at Elgin Community Collage on April 29th and 30th. Way to go girls!
The Outlaws and the SWMFL continue to make safety our top priority! Today, over 30 of our board members, coaches, and team moms are participating in CPR/AED training! Thank you to Illinois Heart Rescue for providing training and for donating an AED to each team in our program!❤️
Today, many of our cheer coaches attended Cheer University through the (ICA) Illinois Cheerleading Association. We strongly believe in the importance of our coaches educating themselves. Our coaches have a myriad of different qualities and skills. Their position comes with many responsibilities including the welfare, development and safety of our athletes. The Outlaws continually strive to ensure we are fully prepared to provide our cheerleaders with an amazing experience!

Coaches & Team Moms Needed
The Outlaws are proud to be a part of this initiative! It’s just one of the many ways we work to keep our athletes safe! We participate in AED, CPR, and concussion training! We have AED devices and certified medical professionals at each practice and game. Our equipment in inspected, cleaned, and refurbished or reordered annually. Coaches have been trained, and certified, and have passed a background check before being allowed to coach. Players must adhere to the league’s strict weight parameters. New this year, our lightweight and varsity football players will be wearing guardian caps on their helmets during practice.
The Outlaws are serious about safety!!!

Together, we collected hundreds upon hundreds of toys! It took 2 minivans, a jeep, & a pickup to get all of them there! It was amazing to be part of such a blessing for these most deserving kids & their families. May your holiday season be bright!Best wishes for a happy & healthy new year!
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our participants, spectators, volunteers and the Southwest Midget Football League for allowing us to host our local league cheerleading competition, The Greatest Cheer Showcase.
This competition was planned and implemented with 11 organizations throughout our league. It gave the opportunity to reward our cheerleaders for their hard work on the sidelines and to create a venue in which they could be recognized for their talents and abilities.
We would like to thank some very important people who made our competition possible:
Saint Xavier University Cheerleading Head Coach, Tracy Baker and Saint Xavier University Cheerleaders who judged our competition
DJ Brandon Jones for our music needs.
