Football
Oak Lawn Outlaws program strives to instill responsibility, leadership, and ownership in the young men and women that come through our program.
Ages
Our organization is age and weight based for the safety of all our players. Please see the age weight matrix at the bottom of the page for more information.
When
Practices start end of July or beginning of August with games starting the last weekend in August. Football season wraps up by the second weekend in November.
Where
We practice and play our home games at Oak Lawn Community High School on the main field.
Practices
Practices in preseason are Monday - Friday from 6pm-8pm. Once the season starts practices are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 6pm-8pm
Games
Games are held on either Saturday or Sunday each week based on field availability. We play 7- 8 regular season games then playoffs. The Superbowl for each level is usually the second weekend in November.
Jerseys
New jerseys for each player with their name printed on the back are issued each year.
Also issued:
- Game day pants
- Practice pants
- Game socks
- Pink socks (October games)
Equipment needed
The league requires a mouthpiece with a tether to attach to the helmet, a chin strap for the helmet and a personal water bottle.
Athletic cup for the players is recommended but not required.
Equipment Deposit
The organization will issue a helmet and shoulder pads for a $350 deposit.

Below are the maximum weights for each level.
Mighty Mites (cannot turn 8 years old before September 1st)
- Age 5 90lbs
- Age 6 85lbs
- Age 7 80lbs
- Striper 92lbs maximum for all ages
Widgets (cannot turn 10years old before September 1st)
- Age 7 105lbs
- Age 8 100lbs
- Age 9 95lbs
- Striper 107lbs maximum for all ages
Peewee (cannot turn 12 years old before September 1st)
- Age 8 130lbs
- Age 9 125lbs
- Age 10 120lbs
- age 11 95lbs
Lightweight (cannot turn 13 years old before September 1st)
- Age 9 155lbs
- Age 10 150lbs
- Age 11 140lbs
- Age 12 130lbs
- Age 13 100lbs applies only to slide down rule.
Varsity (cannot turn 15 years old before December 1st)
- Age 11 190lbs
- Age 12 185lbs
- Age 13 & 14 175lbs
- Striper 220lbs maximum for all ages
