Gail Stearns-Hussein

Gail Stearns-Hussein is entering her 8th year as a part of the Outlaw Family. Her first year in the organization, she immediately jumped in eager to volunteer, spend time with her daughter’s, and became a team mom for the Super PeeWee Cheer Squad. She has also held the position of Director of Cheer Team Moms.

This year, Gail is thrilled to be in her 6th year as Vice President of Cheer for the Outlaws and is excited to continue growing the cheer program and bringing positive changes to the organization. Gail's daughter is an 8th grade Varsity cheerleader and her niece is a Widget. Additionally, she has a high school daughter who cheers for Oak Lawn.

For 10 years, Gail received training in multiple dance genres and gymnastics from Ideal School of Dance. She did PomPoms for two years in high school and has received training through Illinois Cheerleading Association at Cheer University.

Gail loves the sense of community and family atmosphere that the Outlaws have created for her and her daughter’s. They are thankful for: the new friends they have made, friendships they have built and the many memories they have created over the years.

Aside from her Vice President responsibilities, Gail has been a middle school Reading and Language Arts teacher for 18 years. She prides herself on her organization, attention to detail and open/transparent communication that she looks forward to sharing with the Outlaw Cheer Program.

Sandy Galasso

Sandy Galasso has been with the Oak Lawn Outlaws since 2014 when her son Rocco joined to play Flag football, and her family has been hooked ever since. In 2016, her daughter Bella joined to cheer for the Flag team and that is when Sandy became team mom for 2 seasons. In past years, Sandy has volunteered her time helping run the concession stand from open to close for every home game. This year, Sandy is returning as Director of Cheer. When Sandy is not volunteering her time with the Outlaws, she is spending time with her husband Dan, son Rocco, and daughter Bella at their lake house in Indiana or running to one of their games or practices.

Amanda Stone

This is Amanda Stone's third year with the Outlaws. She quickly fell in love with the Outlaws organization and community. This season she is Director of Team Moms, Varsity Team Mom, and on the Cheer ICA Committee. She lives in Oak Lawn with her spouse Derek Johnson, their two daughters Sammie (11yrs) and Alyssa (9yrs), and their cats Max and Phyllis. Sammie will be on Varsity Cheer, her second year with the Outlaws. Alyssa will be on PeeWees Cheer, her first (official) year. Amanda also volunteers for other board positions and works within the community. She enjoys hanging out outside, camping with her family, and crafting. She learned of her new found passion for making cheer bows last year. She's looking forward to a great season with the kiddos and their families!

Ashley can’t wait to start her third season with the outlaws! This will be her second year as an assistant coach for our Widget cheerleaders. Ashley lives in Oak Lawn with her husband and 3 children ages 10, 7, and 5 years old. Ashley works part time as an office coordinator. During the off season from Outlaws cheer Ashley coaches boys basketball and spring season softball. Ashley enjoys spending time in the community & is so excited to have the opportunity to coach competitive cheer again! In Ashley’s free time she enjoys staying active, crafting, playing video games and traveling as much as possible.

Ana Prieto is excited to be the Peewees Cheerleading Head Coach. She lives in Oak Lawn with her 5 children, husband, and her BIG Rottweiler. This is Ana’s fourth year with the Oak Lawn Outlaws. Last season Ana was Assistant Coach for the peewees. This year all three of her daughter’s will be cheering for the Mighty Mites, PeeWees and Lightweights. Ana was on the dance team her Junior and Senior year of high school. Ana loves dancing and choreographing routines. Ana works for the Alsip Fire Department. During her free time, she loves to spend time with her family. She also enjoys going to the movies and going out for ice cream.

Marlene Hart

Marlene Hart is excited to be a part of the OLO team mom ranks for the 2024 PeeWee team. Her family has been part of the Outlaw crew for the past three years and she has loved every minute of it. This upcoming year she has a son playing football as a widget, a daughter in the PeeWee Cheer program, and a daughter in Lightweight cheer. She lives in Oak Lawn with her wife and 2 other boys ages 1 and 3 who hope to join the OLO family in the near future.

She has a Bachelor's degree in clinical counseling and a Master's degree in multi-categorical special education. During the day, she is a Diverse Learner teacher who currently teaches third grade students, in the subjects of Reading and Math. She also organizes and teaches guitar lessons for her students at her school in Little Village in grades 4th-8th who show an interest in expanding their musical abilities. She is excited to give back to the Oak Lawn community and help our cheer girls not only have a fun and enriching season, but also succeed with meeting their athletic goals.
